PROGRAMS

AN ENRICHED CURRICULUM FOR YOUR CHILD’S GROWTH

The preschool program comprises four interest areas located in three or four rooms:

  1. LANGUAGE ARTS –
  2. Activities such as show and tell, story-telling, creative drama, role-playing, listening, vocabulary development, library time, and music

  3. MATH AND SCIENCE –
  4. Discovery play with concrete materials that teach numbers, concepts such as big and little, soft and hard, time and space, nature study and computer literacy

  5. ARTS, CRAFTS, AND WRITING –
  6. Printing skills, use of brushes, scissors, paints, crayons, clay…learning self-expression

  7. MOTOR SKILLS –
  8. Reinforcement of all concepts….following directions, eye/hand and eye/foot coordination, sense of balance

All programs are developmentally appropriate, multi-sensory, multi-dimensional, sequential, and provide for socialization. Our curriculum is also aligned with both the Florida and Illinois Early Learning Standards.

PRESCHOOL – Two, three, or five day morning or afternoon sessions (availability and ages of care differ at centers call for more information)

Toddlers 15 months
Nursery 2 year olds
Juniors 3 year olds
Pre-K 4 year olds
Kindergarten 5 years old by September 1

KINDERGARTEN – Five half day or full day sessions with specialized curriculum and equipment in preparation for entry into first grade

PARENT INVOLVEMENT- An invitation to parents to come in and visit their child whenever they like. Musicals at Christmas and in the spring are a memorable part of your child’s school year. Progress reports in November, parent-teacher conferences in February and report cards at the end of the school year are just some of the many ways we stay in touch.

SUMMER CAMP– A fun-filled summer treat which includes creative drama, arts and crafts, music, field trips, gardening, dance and much more.

DAY CARE – Working Parents or Parents returning to school can rest easy leaving their child in our care. Two snacks, a natural foods nutritious lunch, nap time, and more time for socialization is added onto the preschool program.
